1.4 million Rohingya refugees are living in world’s largest refugee camp in Bangladesh, there are various UN agencies working to improve their living standard. One such development activity is the bamboo bridges built by the World Food Program.
Our Teknaf team recently visited Camp 20 extension in Ukhiya. Team Liter of Light Bangladesh has come up with an assessment on how many streetlights are needed on various bamboo bridges and on the walkway. Soon we are going to start a pilot project under World Food Program.
